The Domestic airlines like Aero link runs scheduled domestic flights to several parks or nearby gateway towns. Fly Uganda recently resumed flights to Kihihi which is part of the Bwindi and Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth and intends to extend their network of flights in 2019. Alternatively, your tour operator can organize charter flights at affordable prices. The only destination in Uganda that is more often reached by air than by road is the remote Kidepo Valley National Park which is found in the north eastern part of Uganda in the Karamoja region.
Entebbe international airport in Entebbe is the only international Airport in Uganda though there is a new airport being built in Kabale District. Uganda is a relatively compact country and further transportation within the country is usually done by vehicle, though more up market safaris increasingly tend to include one or more flights.
