Gorilla Permits - Booking Gorilla Permits in Uganda & Rwanda
A Gorilla trekking permit for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda costs USD 800 per person for foreign non-residents. Foreign residents pay USD 700, while other African nationals pay USD 500; East African citizens pay UGX 300,000. A Rwanda gorilla permit for Volcanoes National Park costs USD 1,500 per person for international visitors. This price was increased from USD 750 in 2017. A gorilla permit is a license issued to a traveller, allowing them to be guided into the gorilla forest to find a habituated gorilla family and spend up to 60 minutes in their presence.
